Waiting for the inevitable Jim Tressel rumors.
There's already been some writer suggesting the possibility of Tressel to WVU because -- get this -- his connection to WVU president E. Gordon Gee. As if.

The show cause penalty may have to expire and Tressel may have to actually turn down a big time offer before they get it through their heads that Tressel has moved on to a greater mission.

They're not going to have Jim Tressel to kick around anymore.

I can't put Hawaii at the bottom - maybe football-wise, but lifestyle and weather-wise it goes to the top - and at a place where they don't expect a playoff appearance every year. I'll take the job. I will go Ofer for 2 years, take a 500K buyout, and gladly move back to Ohio. :biggrin2:

Things are going to be nothing short of wild
There are some premium coaching openings
This will have a domino effect on head coaches and especially asst coaches
Which will have a major impact on recruiting

BUT scUM still sucks and so does ND

I think Miami has to be third or fourth on recruiting base alone. Yes it's a shit job, and a shit hole they play in, with all fair weather fans...but if Dennis Erickson can win there...

Regardless of all the crap, Miami is still a better job than Maryland or South Carolina, which don't seem to really know their role in the pecking order.

I honestly think Maryland is a better spot these days... B1G money & exposure, solid local recruiting, an administration that seems determined to support the AD and a deep pocket donor.

Equally I am just not bullish on Miami for the long term... Small private school, no fan base to speak of, terrible facilities etc.
