What's with the recent history of Good Tribe pitchers being smoked in the post-season? Good god.

Maybe 118 pitches against the Tigers 12 days ago caught up to Bieber? Maybe Sandy not giving any days off to the infielders for weeks wore them down?

Indians can’t hit a fastball down the middle and the Yankees don’t miss em. In hindsight they probably should’ve let Carrasco start game one to take some pressure off of Bieber

If you start Carrasco in game one and he loses that puts the entire season on Bieber. Seems like more pressure. Now it's on Carrasco.

Perfect storm. Indians almost came to too hot and due for a slow down. Yankees came in in a small slump and were do for a explosion. I’d bet tonight’s game is a similar final to last nights

Good point, but what is Bieber’s W/L record after an Indians loss? I think with him having no playoff experience they should have gone with Carrasco game one. They can still pull it off, but their bats better wake up early tonight.

I just hope Cookie is okay to go after the break. If Alomar turns this game over to the bullpen they're doomed. If I were him, I'd have Civale getting ready to go out for the next 5 or 6 innings if Cookie can't.
