Honestly, looking this roster up and down, it's surprising they have even been in a position to compete for the postseason. However, the frustration of seemingly climbing back to a point where they're actually in a position to possibly make a move, only to piss down their legs again is enough. It's football season. Enough with this crap. Will be interesting to see what, if anything, they do this winter.I waited until last night but now I am right there with you. No more Tribe for me this season.

Pretty much.they aren't going to do jack, that's fairly obvious. they'll say that swisher will be back and healthy, and rodriguez did good enough at ss to hold down the fort, and the combo of holt and walters will be good enough. they certainly aren't going to pony up to get themselves a legit #2 starter to go along with Kluber. they'll trot out baur, carrasco, salazar and tj house, and then act shocked when the 4 of them combine for a mid 4 era.

And how they'll continue to toy with the idea of moving Kipnis to the OF, which will fuck him up just enough in ST to make him completely suck at 2B when the season starts and Lindor starts the year in AAA again. Then they'll move Swisher to RF and watch him play like Jose Canseco...without the homers, RBIs, and roids.Only thing you left off is how they'll say Kipnis, Rayburn and MacAllistar are due for big bounce back years and that Santana will have worked the hardest he's ever worked over the winter to get off to a hot start in '15!
Speaking of Kipnis that was a nice tweet by him in response to a fan who gave him the business about all of their losses in Detroit. Kipnis told the fan that they were playing their asses off. Well, since he is making around $8 mil this season he should be playing something off the way he is hitting the ball and I would not care if they sent him down to AAA next season and moved Ramirez to second base and brought Lindor or Gonzales up to play SS. Swisher… I do not even want to talk about. just a big waste of money. And how they'll continue to toy with the idea of moving Kipnis to the OF, which will fuck him up just enough in ST to make him completely suck at 2B when the season starts and Lindor starts the year in AAA again. I think the injuries have been nagging him all year. You don't typically see this kind of dropoff in production from a player in his mid-20s unless there's some underlying issues going on. Hopefully he can heal up this offseason and we see a return to form in 2015. I like Kipnis, and watching him play, you can see the effort is there. As for the rest of these schlubs, I think they are what they are. Swisher is getting old, and while I have no doubt his injury issues contributed to a horrific season this year, they're never going to get the production they're paying for out of him. Best you can hope for is that he can approach his 2013 numbers and provide some clubhouse leadership. Santana will never be the superstar we all thought he would be. But, if he can heal up his nagging injuries this winter, and get that BA back up in the .260-.270 range along with the walks and decent power, he's at least a decent 1B. Brantley has been pretty spectacular. But, is this the player we're going to have going forward, or is it just a career year?Yan Gomes might be the best player on the team right now outside of Kluber and Brantley.Speaking of Kipnis that was a nice tweet by him in response to a fan who gave him the business about all of their losses in Detroit.
