Cleveland Indians (official 2012 season)

They have quit. Perez needs to look in the [censored]ing mirror for a reason they suck.

Personally I think he was hoping beyond hope that he would be dealt at the deadline...then when he wasn't, he's pretty much shut down, because he has sucked since then.

You know, I thought the same thing when he started that shit about the fans. I thought to myself "he's trying to get himself dealt."

Well, they almost got me to August which is all I ever ask of the Indians.

He wasn't the only one.

No, but he's the one that has had the most precipitous decline. It's almost like he wants to lose now, because he shut down the league for almost 2/3 of a season and now magically he can't seem to get anyone out.

Sweet avatar, BTW :banger:

The problem I see with Perez if he continues to suck through the rest of the season he won't have much trade value during the off-season if the Indians decide to rebuild:wink:

Well that's the thing, they should have traded him when his value was at its peak...now they'll be lucky to get anything for him.

Sweet. They can now sign him to an extension. He and Grady can hang out together and do nothing.

:slappy: Seriously, does any organization of any kind pay more people to do absolutely nothing than the Indians? How much of the payroll is tied up in guys who can't play every year?

Well, with Glass Joe and Soda Popinski coming off the books, that number will drop significantly.

Scott Radinsky has been fired...apparently all that "Yo, go out there and do something" Acta did with him from the dugout bench in the middle of games didn't have the intended effect on the staff, which is obviously replete with front line talent. I imagine Perez will blame the fans.
