You have an empty minor league system, a dumpster fire of a roster, a bumbling front office, and ownership that will not spend money to improve. I thought that the GM and President were going to get evaluated first. Manny was the fall guy but I would like to see them get someone with a little fire in their belly for laughs if nothing else.

What's ridiculous is that management even managed to screw this up. If you wanted to get a look at how Alomar would handle this team them Acta should have been fired a month ago. Don't give a guy 6 freaking games to prove himself. How the hell did the FO fuck this up too?

Why the hell would Francona come here? Cheap owner, incompetent President/GM combo, below average talent in the majors, NOTHING in the minors, and the inability to bring in ANY (even bad) free agents. Sounds like a perfect match for a two-time World Season winner.
