I would agree with that...if they had somebody....anybody...who could take his spot and actually play. But they can't even plug LaBusta in that spot. He's still on the AAA DL. Chen started the year hot at Akron but he's struggled in Columbus and is not ready. I guess they could recycle Zeke Carerra, but he's barely outhitting Reynolds and probably can't play anywhere but CF. Cord Phelps? Meh.... The cupboard is really bare when it comes to AAA position players in Columbus. Little wonder that the Clippers are 13 games out.

Well, like I said, they shot their offensive wad for the week the other night. Now they're getting slapped by the Twinkies and Mariners.

It will be interesting to the Swisher up to the #2 spot in the lineup will affect Kipnis and Cabrera and Swisher. Sure he had a home run and got a single last night but let us see what happens in the long term with all three of these guys.

Yeah, because that just-got-out-of-a-clown-car-put-a-fucking-tent-over-that-circus was his fault.

I mean, he did throw a wild pitch, true enough, but Gomes did put a little of an Ole on it.. just more mess, in a messy fucking game.

I don't know that I've ever seen a 5 game stretch where you lost 4 and you could have won 3 if not for egregiously bad defense before.

These guys are fucking psyched out now. Those plays for Kipnis and Chis last night in the first were so routine it isn't funny...and they still missed all of them. Then the pitchers start thinking the only out is a K...this team is done, mentally...
