Cleveland Indians (2013 Season)

no faith in McAllister, Kluber, Carrasco, and the big U along with Masterson. I highly doubt if Myers will be ready by July and I still have my doubts about him along with Kazmir.

Well, here's the thing... in Kazmir's 6 starts, the Tribe is 4-2. Did they have to score 19 in one? Sure...

But, this is the #5. so, that's not that bad...

So, I guess the point is, and i wasn't clear, if they are going to add a guy, they need the guy to be a top 3 type dude... or there's really no point. (Both for the sake of getting in the playoffs and once you're there.)

I'm not, by the way opposed to Carrasco getting some action, but, we've already got crazy... I'd rather Kazmir, Bauer, etc, go out there and do what they can rather than something go wrong then have Carrasco plunk someone and get tossed after 1 1/3. That's not the best way to get quality innings.

The reality is we're gonna have to outscore teams sometimes to win, and this team is built to some degree to do that.

and really, it's hard to say you don't have faith in mcallister. if anything, he's been pretty consistent this year. he's not totally dominant, but he will rarely pitch you out of a game after 3-4 innings like ubaldo.

The Indians are contemplating when to promote Carlos Carrasco.

Carrasco deserves another shot in the rotation, having posted a 1.36 ERA while striking out 41 over 39 2/3 Triple-A innings. The problem is that he has to serve a suspension, which will last eight games unless it's reduced following his appeal. "Once we have a sense of what the final suspension will be, maybe it's eight games, maybe it's less, we'll have an idea how to work around it," said general manager Chris Antonetti. It would be easiest to work around the suspension at the All-Star break, but it's possible the Tribe will call Carrasco up before then.

How 'bout....never...

At this point I would be okay with them calling him up for a game against Detroit. Miggy getting plunked in the head is the only thing that'll keep the Tigers at bay.

* I'm joking - certainly don't want to see anything happen to him, as I think he's going to have one of those special seasons in baseball. More of a joke regarding Carrasco's craziness.

Vinnie has to get his fastball back or the Indians will be in deep trouble late in the game. He just does not seem to be the same pitcher that he was last year. Makes you wonder about his arm being healthy.

I am hoping Carrasco is not another LaPorta, meaning another guy that the front office just insists will be a ML caliber player, despite no evidence to support the claim, and in fact repeated evidence against it. He's young so there is still a chance...but then so was LaPorta.

Wow, was that an epic fantabulous meltdown. Jose Mesa would have been proud. The end of the bullpen is officially shit...something I didn't anticipate saying. Back to reality now.
