God Dammit! I absolutely do not want to believe in this team. I almost hate that they aren't proving me right. I still am waiting to for them to it make through July, but it looks like there might be something to this nonsense of having reasonably decent pitching, and the ability to score. I, by nature, am a skeptic though, and I fully suspect that the road trip starting on the 3rd is going to be an awakening of sorts. I would consider a .500 record after that acceptable for a team in the Central to consider a playoff position. I hope that I am, pleasantly, proven an idiot.

Nope. If they're there in August great, but until then I'm not a believer. I didn't believe the last two years when they did this, then imploded after the all star break. For me it's a wait and see...I hope they're in it in August. Cleveland needs a good team again.

Sucked in or not...

Good baseball is good baseball. And the Tribe are playin' some ball. If I was in Cleveland I'd be checking these guys out weekly. Ride this thing out. Maybe it goes down in flames, fine to expect that even, but this particular team is fun to watch for the time being.

The Indians really need to send Perez to PR school before he gets into real problems with that Cleveland media which will not help him with the fan base when he pitches another top of the ninth inning like he did yesterday. I guess maybe the bigger question might be the health of his right arm and can he continue to go back to back games.
