Yeah, suspiciously when he's essentially pitching for his next contract. His performance will price him out of Cleveland, and they'd be wise to let him go. Some team is going to give him a big contract based on his last six weeks, and he'll promptly go back to the turd he was for the two full years prior once the motivation is gone.

From what I understand (which isn't much), we'll pick up his option and he'll decline, if/when another team signs him we'll pick up a comp pick after the first round, not a bad deal. He's well worth that option now.

Tampa looks like it really wants that top wild card spot, beating up on Baltimore so far today (after winning in the 18th last night). Hopefully their lack of arms in the bullpen catches up with them over the next few days but the O's are doing us any favors thus far today.

Kluber versus Bedard tomorrow, setting up for a 4 game sweep. Also, that's 3 straight 1 run games by Indians pitching, impressive no matter who you're facing.

Looks like...barring a 7-0 finish by someone else (BALT, NYY, KC)...that is it 3 teams (TB, CLE, TEX) battling for 2 spots now. If we can get the next 3 at home, I predict we will be in the top spot going into that 4 gamer in Minnesota, probably by 0.5 and 1.0...then things will really get interersting.
