Cleveland Indians (2013 Season)

Tonight is a must win....Ubaldo against some no name with a 5+ ERA....if they can't win this one then they are truly hopeless
They're all must-wins now...they need to win 8, maybe 9, of their last 10 to assure a birth...going 7-3 leaves the door open for Texas or TB to do the same and finish ahead of us, and 6 is not going to be enough. 3/4, 2/2, 3/4 is needed.

Not sure if I trust my counting, but I only see ONE time all season where the Indians won more than 5 games in a row. Between July 24 and August 1 they won 8 in a row. So, better hope that they can spot that remaining loss or two in the middle of the remaining schedule.....OR hope that they can have their second long streak of the season, this time while the pressure is on.

Jesus it takes Carson to get a game-winner in extras to beat a team with 100 losses and a no-name pitcher with a 5+ ERA 2-1

On a high note, Perez nearly shit the bed again, but managed to work out of yet another bases loaded, one out jam. :banger:

TB has a 4game series at home against Baltimore then on the road against the Yankees and Toronto.

TEX has 3 at KC, then home against Houston and the Angels

This is going to come down to the end...

Edit: Tribe has home against the Astros, ChiSox, and then on road at Minny

Tampa clearly has the hardest road...what we don't want is to be behind during the final weekend series, because while we're in Minnesota they both have winnable games. We need to make the move now by winning out at home.

Yeah and in recent history, we haven't played well against them, at least in years past. And I don't think our record up in Minny has been great either
