Cleveland Indians (2013 Season)

McAllister...Kluber if you're bullish on him. Scott Barnes came over for Garko, I believe.

Reynolds is a heck of a lot better than Kotchman, neither one of them are starters on a contending (even AL Central) team.

I am not bullish on any of them, to be honest...but if the team is going anywhere, 2 had best be at least B-level.

Please not him again. I don't know why they didn't save the money they paid Reynolds and waved it at Swisher and Youkilis. Oh, what is the difference.
In the media, the Indians have been connected mostly with hitters, but they've contacted several free agent pitchers in an attempt to improve their starting rotation. Among the starters they've inquired about are: Roberto Hernandez, Kyle Loshe, Edwin Jackson, Carlos Villanueva and Francisco Liriano.

didn't you just a few days ago argue against signing nick swisher in favor of signing a right handed bat like mark reynolds?

If u saw the money we waved at victorino then you would know we have enough to still go after swisher apparently...and kyle lohse would be awesome

i will still be amazed if cleveland gives swisher the 4 years $60 million he wants. if they do, then they certainly need to make the deals to dump choo and ascab and acquire some pitching.

Jackson I like. Not sure if he's a total clubhouse cancer with the amount he's bounced around, but he's league average at worst and has shown a lot more at times.

I'd take Jackson over Lohse simply due to the age difference (Jackson is 30 in September '13) and Lohse's extreme outlier 2012 season.

I'm sure the fans behind home plate will enjoy the air conditioning provided by Mark Reynolds whiffs. They might as well pluck a fan out of the stands , pay them minimal salary and let them play 1B at this rate

i still think this is a decent signing and im not shocked by how most on this forum are reacting to the signing of reynolds...who else in the FA market that plays primarily 1B could the Indians get that is better then Reynolds? at 6 million to boot....i will wait for your responses

Indians in talks with the reds exchanging Choo for Stubbs & Gregorius

As a Reds fan, oh, please, please, please, PLEASE let this happen.

Gents. No matter how bad you think it is, you don't have to watch Drew Stubbs bat leadoff 162 games per year. You don't want this to happen.

Tribe fans do not sweat this rumor. Reds fans just don't get this lucky.

IF for some cosmic fuck all reason this actually goes down, a big preemptive condolence. Stubbs is a fucking horror.
