Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

a 4 game sweep of the O's would be nice

Today they go up against Alfredo Simon who has a 4.85 ERA and batters hit .317

tomorrow against Mitch Atkins whos only made 2 appearances this season and in those 2 has an 8.22 ERA and hitters are hitting .417 against him

SHOULD be able to tee off on these bums

regardless of how the season ends, there is certainly some positives that have come out of this season.

brantley and cabrera, along with good choo and santana makes a nice top 4. if chis even comes close to matching the hype, he'll be good.

the bullpen has been stellar. masterson has emerged as a front of the rotation starter, if not a #1. tomlin has shown to be a legit back of the rotation starter. carasco has been inconsistent but has shown to be a possible middle of the rotation pitcher.

with some luck and maybe some actual free agent acqusitions, this team may actually be able to contend for real next season, and not just be the short term best of a shitty division.

Also, liked what I saw from White before he got hurt. Plus, Pomeranz is on the fast track and he could be up next season too.
