Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

Sizemore's time may be up in Cleveland. Don't get me wrong, I as big of a Grady fan as anyone but he is wearing out his welcome. He needs to get it together with this new hitting coach ASAP. If not, I think it's time to trade him for a left fielder and let Brantley become our everyday centerfielder.

i really think Wedge and company messed him up when they tried to make him into more of a power hitter. he was generally considered a gap to gap type hitter coming up through the minors, with some possible power.

i'd take a .280 average with a higher OBP, 30-40 doubles and 15 hrs over a .260 hitter with a pedestrian OBP and 20+ hrs.

I think Wedge and Company messed him up by doing just what you said and then continued ot let him lead off...

He could (though in retrospect it might be stupid with the injuries) have carried a bit more weight...

But, generally, I think you're spot on here.

the offense is going to have to score 10 runs tonight probably

Carmona's first inning = 3 hits and a run, Carmona being Carmona

and as I type this Hafner just hit a 3 run bomb to make it 3-1
