Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

Trying to keep the faith about the Tribe because they actually had me believing about 3 weeks ago. This team will only go as far as their SP will take them, and right now they are not getting it done or the offense is so pitiful that they are losing 1-0 or 2-0 games. Their is a huge lack of talent on offense and it is really beginning to show. Without Pronk or Sizemore playing to their abilities they have no power threat in the middle of the line-up. Still pulling for the Tribe, but it looks like they are starting to circle the drain.

Okay Tribe fans, it's go time. :box:

Pittsburgh (35-33) at Cleveland (36-31)

Beat 'em, Bucs!

Nothing against the Pirates, or the Rockies afterwards on this 6 game stand, they could easily beat us any night...but we had better kick ass and take names, because after this it is on the road to SF, Arizona, Boston, and Texas for the next 13...so if they don't build some confidence and score some runs on this stand, it's gonna be a "double espresso mocha latte prepare your anus" on that trip :dead:

You skipped a month. Right from June and into August. You might want to take a look at the schedule again.

Ummmm....yeah, see, I was just ignoring the other 28 games, because uh, ahh, ummmm...

OK sue me, the fuckers put June next to August on the downloadable schedule... :pissed: :pissed: :pissed:

Anyway, the point is still the same, because replace Boston and Texas with Cincinnati and a visit from the Yankees, so it's still a bitch of a stretch.

I hope the Indians have almost as much success against the Bucs as the Reds have so far this season. :wink2:

Seriously, with warm bodies playing catcher, third base and shortstop the only reason the Pirates are playing .500 ball is because the starting pitching has been surprisingly effective to date. They aren't going to win many slugfests.

The Tribe hadn't hit a homer in a week and the Bucs' starters hadn't allowed one in 59 innings, so of course Santana goes yard.

Lies, damn lies, and statistics.
