Gonna get murdered. Carmona looks like the [Mark May]fest 2008 version. Another bad start after this impending one, I hope they look to replace him because he's been beyond awful.

I cannot even fathom why he's still on the roster.

A look at just how steeply things have fallen off since Pronk went down:

LaPorta: .211/.243/.380
OCab: .145/.181/.174
Hannahan: .209/.303/.343
Buck: .213/.288/.383
Duncan: .176/.194/.294
Kearns: .250/.351/.406
Marson: .133/.188/.133
Everett: .167/.200/.167
Phelps: .071/.133/.071

AUSTIN [censored]ing KEARNS is our best hitter other than AsCab since then. AUSTIN KEARNS! That is despicable. :slappy: I think we're getting to the point we can officially label LaBusta a BUST. He'll have a good game here and there, but he is what he is: an AAAA player.

3 runs? 8 hits? Already? WTF? Thank God for Brad Penny.

Reverse mojo working on LaBusta tonigh, but don't worry, he'll disappear for another 2 weeks starting tomorrow.

OHSF9 gets the reverse mojo award for last night... about the second he posted that Penny couldn't get an out.. but, I kept my yap shut.

Funny thing is, Penny was getting some calls on the outside corner that normally would help any pitcher, but, invariably, at some point he'd just groove a fastball down the pipe.

Even more important than the 6 runs is probalby the 13 hits. But still, 13 hits, 3 walks, 3 Sacs, and a productive RBI out by LaPorta and only 6 runs? Yeah, thank god for Brad Penny.

Hopefully we get the Old Pronk back...

But yeah, 1st Place in Mid June? I'll take it.
