Tribe take 4/5 from the Twins, this pretty much eliminates the Twins. They are 7 games back with 15 games to play.

Massive 3 game series with @ the White Sox starting tomorrow. If the Tribe can take 2/3 that will make it very hard for the white sox to comeback and win the division (they'd be 5 games back with 12 games to play)

After the umps stop the game to review a foul ball that was nowhere close to a home run. Dumb.

Like I said, I don't feel like it was a particularly tough call. It wasn't all that bang bang in real time, from the live camera angle he looked safe, and I honestly expected to see something on replay that the live shot didn't show well. (Like maybe he got the shin guard with his hand instead of the plate)

Nope.

Dude is right in position and nothing particularly weird happened. The ball didn't even beat him and he slid under the tag or whatever, he straight beat the throw and the guy straight blew the call.

It wasn't. This is a case where there definitely should be some kind of "punishment" for the ump. There's human error and then there's just blatant disregard, like this.
