Right now I see it more of being able to sign contracts that aren't guaranteed. I'm guessing the Euro-stash is the guy that they want in a few years and the other 2 give them unguaranteed money that they can move along with Haywood. I get the feeling everything they do is going to be for next season and any picks they made yesterday won't matter next year. If they let someone on the current roster walk I would start to worry about them not wanting to pay the tax. Gilbert is on record saying that he didn't understand letting a team fall apart because of the tax, but this is his first shot at putting his money where his mouth is.
