Given all the buzz about him not wanting to stay and sign an extension, that's probably inevitable regardless.so over/under Jan for the trading of Mitchell?

It was one game, and they did manage to win it at the end thanks to an implosion by the Nets. But they don’t have anywhere near the depth they had last year. The bench scored like 17 points last night…fine if you’re the 86 Celtics, not so good for this team. Yes, not having all of the big 4 in hurts…but I feel like that’s a pretty regular occurrence throughout the season. Garland was more or less a GTD as it was, and he played sparingly in clutch time. Strus looks like a keeper, but Niang is terrible, and I don’t see where they go beyond the top 6 or 7, and that’s with everyone healthy. LeVert was the top option off the bench. After that…woof.Everything I heard was next summer was the time for the extension. I feel like the "buzz" is mostly coming from NY. If he doesn't want to sign an extension before next season that would be the time to move him, but they were good last season and had very little playoff experience. I only watched the last 12 seconds of the game, but the Cavs aren't the same when they don't have the big 4. That being said they still beat a playoff team from last year. I feel like the last page or so of this thread is like the Dr. Pepper commercial where everyone gives up after the first play of the game.
