Hard to believe Curry won the MVP.

I think people make way too much of the "MVP" award. It's a collection of votes from a bunch of sports media, many of whom aren't very bright.

How much deep insight does it take to vote for the leading scorer on the team that won the most games?

I think Steve Kerr tops the list.

From his interview last night...

"Steph won the MVP...and he fouled out. The MVP! He fouled out! He can't foul out! He won the MVP! Did I mention that Steph won the MVP this year?! MVPs don't foul out! And he fouled out! Something something something MVP."

The back pedal is strong with Ayesha Curry.... She tweeted as if she never deleted that first tweet..

I hope Sunday is the final blow in the Warriors "dynasty" (lol). They realize they are too soft as a team, and all go in their separate ways. Wonder how many of these so called "true" Warriors fans stick around if something like that happened. Because let's be honest, 85% of the people on the bandwagon couldn't even name GSW's starting lineup from 2005.

I imagine Stephs PR people got to her even before he or the NBA did. All they had to tell her is she was costing herself money.

Screamin A Smith told Ayesha to be quiet, like LeBron's wife. She, of course, took the bait.

Hate to agree with him, but he's absolutely right. It's one thing for fans to bitch, but the wife of the first unanimous MVP whining because Curry finally gets called for his constant reaching isn't a good look for the NBA.

That being said, Stephan A has been so back and forth on this series, it's hard to imagine anyone still takes him seriously. After the Warriors were up 3-1, he was the biggest Warriors advocate. Now he's done a complete 180.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Who the fuck was taking him seriously before this series?

I think game 7 is decided by how the Cavs defend Thompson and Curry, and how the Warrior bench plays. Shumpert, in particular, played some awful defense against Curry. He got lost at every opportunity and gave Curry far too many open looks. If either Thompson or Curry play like Thompson did in game 6 against OKC, the Cavs have no shot. They're going to have to prevent them from getting into a rhythm. Meanwhile, Curry and Thompson combined for 55 in the last game, but it didn't matter because the rest of their starters and bench—with the exception of Barbosa and Speights—were garbage.

The Cavs seem to understand how to beat them on the offensive end, but they have to be engaged defensively. No easy buckets.
Everytime I see Shump enter the game I cringe. He can't shoot, isn't great in the paint, and now his defense is shoddy. I don't see how me plays so many minutes. Last night 14 minutes, 0-2 shooting, 0 pts, 1 rebound, 1 TO, 4 fouls? How is that a shooting guard?
Monday had 26 minutes, 2-4 shooting, 4 pts, 1 rebound, 1 steal, 2 blocks, 1 TO, 1 foul? That was one of his best games of the playoffs. How is he getting so many minutes.
I like to see Delly and Jefferson and Frye and Love get more minutes, they all bring more value. Last night Love (in less minutes) was 1-3 shooting (1-2 3pt), but gets to the line (4-6 FT), 3 Reb, 2 Assist, 1 TO. And Jefferson brings similar offense to Shump but real defense. Delly brings better offense and better defense and is a decent distributer. Frye is an insane 3 pt shooting and is similar liability on defense as Shump. This just doesn't make sense to me.
