I'm still lost on why all the love for Beal. Buford had much better numbers his junior year than Beal did last year. Are they basing Beal's rating on what he didi in high school?

Beal

Buford

IMO, Beal's game will transition alot better to the NBA. Better all around game and athlete than Buford.

I love my Buckeye ball players but Buford disappeared way to often in too may games. I wish the best to Willie in the NBA but I do not see him being a very good NBA player and personally I would not pick him. Just my two cents.

I don't know much about Beal, but that's why I would rather the Cavs get into the top two so they could get Davis or MKG. If they do end up with MKG or Beal I would like to take Fab Melo with the 24, but if they fall out of the top 3 I'd go for Drummond and hope he can become the next Howard. Outside of those 4 players I don't want any of the other big names.

cavs need some magic tonight.

i really don't want beal either. i can see too much risk in him. i'd rather take some risk with a second big with upside for our second lotto pick. like Z and Potapenko were drafted back in the day but both Z pre injury status wise.

I'm hearing alot of stuff about Drummond moving up into the top 2/3. We'll have a much better idea once the NBA combine is over. I think teams are just looking for Drummond to show he's not a slacker. If he shows hustle, I can see him easily moving up to #2. He's abig boy, that's for sure.

Not going to matter though because Little Gilbert will get us the #1 tonight and we have the easy choice of the 'Brow.

I'd be happy with top 4 though.

Bradley Beal has a lot of star potential at the SG position. He has unlimited range, a quick release, and he is very athletic. The only concern is his height.

And with Irving being more of a penetrating point guard, it would be ideal to pair him up with an athletic floor-spreading 2.

I have more concerns about MKG. He's a 3 that can't shoot the 3. He has great transition ability and he finishes around the rim as well as any prospect since LBJ. But does he fit in with Kyrie if he can't shoot?

Davis is a no-brainer. Drummond is a major project. Thomas Robinson has a low ceiling at a position we filled in last year's draft (PF).

True, but it was only Beals' Freshman season. His first season was better than Bufords. Bufords problem was that he never improved that much from year one to year four. It also helps that Beal played his best basketball of the season during their 5 game tournament run. I only wish that Beal had the height of Buford.

Robinson having a "low ceiling" is something else I don't get. I'm seeing the next Karl Malone, but what do I know? Against us in the semi-finals he went for 18 points and 9 boards. Against Kentucky in the finals he went 18 for points and 17 boards. Here's a write up on him before his senior season began. Scroll down and look at the jump in his numbers.

TRob is listed at 6'10", but he's more like 6'8". He'll be playing in a league full of talented PFs that are playing at 6'10" and above. He hasn't demonstrated a lot of shooting range and he's an average athlete for an NBA player. He's a decent back-to-the-basketball post player, but I can't think of anyone in the league under 6'11" that is effective playing with their back to the basket because of the athleticism and shot blocking ability of most post defenders. He's a good rebounder, but a below average defender who is foul prone.

TRob .... No not want.. sorry average player at best in the NBA, yes he tore up Kentucky (plays no D).
Beal .... dont know enough about, but give me a shooter thats the one thing you can't live without in the NBA.

honestly I have no clue who we pick but these are just my opinions.

Not sure why you think a three has to shoot the three. Of the top 50 3 point shooters in the league, the only good sf is Durant and he's like #38. MKG's shooting will get better, just like any good NBA player gets better (shooting) as he gets experience. Hell, Lebron only shot 29% his first season.

MKG is a stud. I'm not buying into any of that last minute, find flaws in a guys game bullshit (not from you, but from the interwebs). He'll work on his shooting and it will be a strength.

Alot of different directions the Cavs can go in this draft. Where they end up after tonight's lottery will determine that.

One thing I think we can all agree on is whoever gets the number one pick, AD will be the selection. After that, it's anybody's guess.
