Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

"I'm not mad about it, but just being professionals man."
Is it professional to exert no effort, play no defense, and leave guys wide open beyond the arc?

Just asking, Paul, because you're to so-called "professional" who cashed a paycheck for that pathetic performance last night.

And by the way, Atlanta was just a little bit mouthy when they took an early lead in Game One. Maybe the Cavs were getting some Hawks to eat their words:

"It's a certain way of being a professional," Paul Millsap said to Cleveland.com. "I'm not mad about it, but just being professionals man. If that's how you want to approach it, that's how you approach it. I think our team and our organization has class and I don't think we would have continued to do that, but other organizations do other things so what can you do about it?"
Al Horford echoed his frontcourt mate's sentiments.
"We probably wouldn't do anything like that [if we were in that position]," he told Cleveland.com. "...It's hard to say, but I would say no."

Since when did making 3 point shots (i.e. in this case 25) in the NBA become "unprofessional"?

:slappy:

did anyone explain to these clowns that cleveland made 18 of those 25 threes in the first half, that no starter played more than 28 minutes (irving only played 19), and not a single starter played in the 4th quarter, and all the starters sans lebron were out of the game with 6 minutes left in the 3rd. so, what milsap is really mad about is that cleveland's job squad came in and still whipped their ass?

Cavs win game 3 over Atlanta, 121-108. Four Cavs with 20+ points (Frye 27; James 24; Irving 24; Love 21); and three Cavs with 13+ rebounds (Love 15; James 13; Thompson 13).

Cavs were 21/39 (53.8%) on 3-pointers, and 21/46 (45.7%) on 2-pointers.
