Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Timo, LBJ, and Kyrie looked pretty good tonight. Timo was running the floor more like TT, and it looks like LBJ and Kyrie are starting to turn it up a bit now that it's getting close to the end of the reg season. Secure the #1 seed, and keep everyone healthy, and they should coast through the Eastern Conf Playoffs.

On a side note, I'm really intrigued to see GSW matchup with Oklahoma State, then San Antonio after that in the playoffs. Both those teams could stretch the series between them, and wear GSW down.

LeBron and Kyrie subtweeting one another is not a great sign. This team is more emotionally fragile than any I've ever followed. I don't get it. They're 44-18 and you'd think they were on the cusp of the lottery. It seems like either LeBron or Kyrie are a toxic presence in the locker room, and this situation has gone about as poorly as it could've. I could honestly picture them going down 1-0 in the ECF this year and mentally collapsing. It's almost like they're looking to create media distractions.

I think Curry going down may be our only shot to win this year. And I believe this may be our last real opportunity to win because next year LeBron will be a year older and Kevin Durant may be playing for the Warriors.

That's because there's no leadership. LeBron is trying to be the boss of the team, but that's not the same thing. And getting Blatt fired, whether or not it was the right move, didn't help them very much from a mental standpoint and that's before you get into the debate about whether Lue is ready to be an NBA Head Coach for a championship contender....

These guys basically suck. They are horrible together out there and look like they just don't give a shit.

I'm starting to get off the LBJ bandwagon and put a ton of the blame on him. He is not a cohesive person evidently. The rest of the team look tired and uninterested most of the time. Pitiful

Turns my stomach to say this but it seems too much like the 2015 Buckeye football team who just expects to steamroll everyone without trying.

They just need another players locker room meeting. The 20th meeting is the charm. LeBron pretty much summed it up without even knowing it...

"We're still learning..."

Uhhh. You guys are 75% of the way through your second season together...you might not want to say that out loud...to the media.

How is it that the Grizzlies, on the road and second night of a back to back, down four starters, have it more figured out than the Cavs?

I hope they lock up Lebron for at least 3 years when he resigns in the offseason.
That way, they can hire a better coach who wont have to be afraid to tell Lebron to shut the hell up on twitter and stop calling his own plays.
Lebron cant be a player and coach at the same time. He needs to know his role like everyone else.
As posted above, this team needs Leadership and not only from Lebron.

Also, they could then trade Love for a younger player like Towns.
that way this team would still be talented and still have room to grow after Lebron turns 35.

I agree with you about getting a coach. I think a Stan Van Gundy or Tom Thibodeau type would do wonders for this team.

I'd imagine you were just giving Towns as an example, but there's no way in hell Minnesota would make that trade. I don't think trading Love is out of the question, though, especially when Channing Frye has been everything the Cavs hoped Love would be. There's no reason to pay a premium price (and ruin Love's career) if you're just looking for a spot-up shooting Power Forward. Trading Love for a big 3-and-D wing player would be great, but I don't think other team's would buy high on Love, especially if the Cavs fail to win again (and desperation is clearly setting in). That said, Love provides the rare opportunity to acquire a star, and franchises like Boston have offered a wealth of assets to get one.
