Matthew Dellavedova can't believe people think he's dirty.

Dellavedova was named the dirtiest player in the NBA in a Los Angeles Times poll of coaches and players.

Dellavedova received 13 votes. Oklahoma City center Steven Adams was next with seven votes. Golden State center Andrew Bogut (5), Memphis forward Matt Barnes (4) and Oklahoma City forward Serge Ibaka (2) rounded out the top five.

I think the dirty rap on Delly is undeserved. He gives 110% every time he steps on the floor, which rubs guys the wrong way. He is an expert on doing the little things to get under guys skin i.e. when Gibson shoved him down in the payoffs last year and he grabbed him with his legs to get Gibson to retaliate with at T. If Gibson hadn't shoved him to the ground there wouldn't have been an opportunity. The Korver injury was more of a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. If Delly was really dirty he would have done something to Curry in the Finals.

Delly is dirty in the sense that he doesn't care who's knees or ankles are in the way of a loose ball.
If it means getting an extra possession he will break bones for it, and I love it.
I'm really impressed with him this year, he has made the Mo Williams addition basically obsolete.
I used to cringe when Delly would shoot a 3 last year, props to the guy for improving his offensive game in the offseason.

He worked on what he needed to in order to be good enough on offense for a team with as many creators as the Cavs. His 3 is quicker and more reliable this year in the fact that he's in the top 10 in 3pt %. His floater is good enough that it opens up the lob to TT and Timo. Nobody is going to mistake him for Kyrie any time soon, but I'd say in the games Kyrie has played Delly has been more valuable in quarters 1-3 so far. I'm hoping that changes starting tonight with Kyrie having one of those out of his mind scoring games.

Huge game tonight for the confidence of the team going forward.

It's one of the 2 most important games of the Cavs regular season, but I don't think it will hurt their confidence if they don't pull it out. GS has yet to play SA so who knows if they will even be in the Finals. Last year the Cavs were just starting to find their groove at this point. Kyrie still doesn't look like he will and who knows what is happening with Timo. Lot of season left.

GS will continue to be nigh unbeatable as long as you aren't allowed to touch them without drawing a foul. They shoot the lights out but can't play contact. Refs call just about everything they can unless it's barely a nudge. Brutal
