Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Jamison had thirty three and eight. Gee started in place od Casspi and had nineteen and seven. If the Cavs had a good two guard, and even a (limited big man) Ben Wallace, or Dennis Rodman type player they could beat most teams.

gee is still a bench guy/6th man.

the cavs will deal sessions and probably jamison in the next week and fully commit to tanking.

Jamison has already cost them a couple games of tanking. There has to be some contender that would be willing to give up a low 1st rounder for him the way he's playing right now.

he's also cost the team a few wins with some 5/15 shooting nights and inability to play defense. when he's in a shooting funk, he's perfect for a tanking team.

i agree that gee is a 6th man on a better team but we are far from that...i hope he keeps progressing and will be a great SF for us in the future...reminds me kind of when we first acquired ricky davis and he was just dunking on everyone...but obviously without all the mental problems

Bill Simmons recently floated a trade rumor i thought was interesting

Who says no to Atlanta saving $20 million next season by dealing Smith and Marvin Williams to Cleveland for Antawn Jamison's expiring contract? (Answer: The Hawks. But they definitely had a two-hour meeting about it.)

i love josh smith and all, but i dont know how i feel about trading for him...i have a feeling that once he got to cleveland he would be just as or even less enthusiastic about his playing situation here because its a rebuilding process all over...he is only 26 and is a beast, and teamed with verajo, irving, thompson and a Center acquired through the draft, we could be decent...i dont see this trade happening, but its worth discussing i guess ...what i would rather see happen is us trading Sessions to ATL for Marvin Williams contract and and ATL's 1st round pick...especially now that Teague injured his ankle the other day

This. OR I can go with any of these trades that I have seen on other web sites:

Sessions to the Lakers for a player and their 1st #1 (21).

Andy to the Sixers for ET and their #1(22) (yes, I have seen this)

Jamison and the Cavs 2nd rounder (41) to the Pacers for their 1st (23) and a player to be named.

For arguments sake, lets say Cleveland gets the 8th pick overall in the upcoming draft.

They pick at 8, 21, 22, 23, and 32.

Turn around on draft day and package the 8 and 21 picks to NJ to move up to #5 and Cleveland should have a shot at Andre Drummond:

5 - Andre Drummond, C

22 - Doran Lamb, SG, 6-4

23 - Alex Young, SG/F, 6-6 (saw this kid play against OSU, he is a scorer)

32 - Darius Miller, G/F, 6-8

Throw in ET, with this group and it would be a very productive off-season.

if andre drummond actually comes out in the draft, there is no way at all he lasts until #5.

the andy trade is bad for cleveland.
