Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

I'm proud of Blatt for pulling Kyrie at the end of the game. Much better to have someone who can actually move on the court than Kyrie. I'd like to see a Smith-Shumpert-LeBron-Thompson-Mosgov lineup in crunch time.

The Cavs couldn't buy a 50/50 call tonight. Everything went Chicago's way. The Cavs looked like the lesser team for about 2.5 quarters. And LeBron won it. He hasn't been playing well, but the whole team is on his shoulders once again.

It was a crucial call at the end to say that it went out of bounds right away, leaving 1.5 on the clock instead of .5 (originally .8 but would have been changed to .5 if called out after the long bounce off the floor). It looked like it hit the floor inbounds to me. Should have been a foul on Noah regardless, but after it wasn't there probably should have been .5 seconds on the clock which would have been a different play.

That and Blatt was lucky for not getting a tech called on him after trying to call a timeout without any.

This win was huge. If Kyrie can heal up fast then I feel pretty good about the rest of the series. Without him, it'll be one helluva fight.

I was calling for more JR Smith in this game. He made a dumb play or two in the first quarter and I didn't notice him in the game again until the 3rd quarter. He got a little shot happy at that point and then caught fire just in time. If Kyrie is in the same condition for Game 5, then I think Smith is the key.
