Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Kyrie is a fucking beast...anyone who says we should of drafted Knight or Walker are making themselves look dumber each minute...he missed the game winner in Indiana a few months ago and he comes back and makes this one count...this kid is the franchise

I know Varajao is good trade bait right now, but I would hate to see him leave. I love what he brings to the Cavs, and the chemistry between him and Kyrie seems to be REALLY good.

This is one Cavs fan who doesn't want to see Varajao traded.

i love verajo too...and i dont want to see him leave but i understand why we would trade him...this upcoming draft should be loaded...Irving is the franchise and u need to try and put as much talent around him through the draft first...i dont see anything happening now but i bet towards the trade deadline u will see sessions, verajo, anthony parker and jamison's name thrown around alot...and by that point we still should be sitting around the #8 seed and chris grant will know that we have to unload...i just have a feeling that alot of teams this year wont be as willing to give up a first round pick in this years draft because of its potential

By all means, find a way to get rid of Jamison. Hopefully to a contender willing to give away their picks. Parker too, although I don't see him having much value on the market.

Either way, the Cavs FO has done a good job of rebuilding after the end of last season. They've got their eye on the near future for success, and it shows. Two solid draft picks in next years draft and the Cavs can actually make some noise.

Wow! Amazing game between Dallas and San Antonio... Jason Terry knocks down a jumper to tie it with 0.5 left. Danny Green knocks down the potential game winner, but released the ball 0.1 too late. Going to OT now.

It will be tricky to trade Jamison , I believe there has to be a comparable salary involved in the trade.

theres many ways around having another team take on a bad contract...jamisons is very appealing because its and expiring contract...remember that we traded jamario moon and mo williams for baron davis and a 1st round pick...baron davis had one of the worst contracts next to larry hughes...there are ways to make these trades go down...lets just hope jamison stays healthy

The problem with trading Andy is that the teams that will want him, are teams that are in the playoff hunt and their pick won't be very high. You have to ask yourself, at what point do you keep him over taking a first round pick in the 20's? I'm guessing we'd have to be very lucky to get someone at that spot that can offer this team what Andy does.

He's 29, has a very manageable contract, plays very well with Kyrie and EVERYONE loves him and his game.

cleveland would also have to get some sort of young talent in return along with at least one 1st round pick.

you never know...a team like the knicks, memphis or san antonio who are all currently out of playoff contention could make a call to stay competitive...having them send us a unprotected lottery pick could be an awesome gamble...no guarantee that the team would then make the playoffs...i have alot of faith in grant...he has made alot of great moves so far...you could argue he has already done a better job then danny ferry and paxson combined...only thing good paxson did was tank the team to land lebron...and here is some trade rumors also

The Lakers have talked with the Cavs about trading for Ramon Sessions, sources tell Yahoo.

No deal is imminent, but a trade would make some sense for both sides. The Lakers desperately need to upgrade their point guard situation and Sessions is wasting away behind Kyrie Irving in Cleveland. Sessions is earning $4.3 million this season and has a player option for $4.6 million next season. The Cavs reportedly want back draft picks in any trade.

I wonder what the Lakers would give up for Ramon? I'd have to think they want to hold onto all their first rounders to make a run at Howard. Might be able to work a 3 team deal where the Cavs take back salary and someone else's first rounder.

If Orlando keeps playing like shit, they might decide to move Howard at the deadline. Once Howard goes to Jersey, the Lakers can dump us a pick for Sessions. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

For a moment it looked like the Cavs were going to come from behind and steal another one from the Celtics. This time, however, they fell just a little too far behind.

Would've liked to see Irving go against Rondo both games but Rajon missed them with a wrist injury. The kid looks like he's going to be something if Cleveland can get a little more talent around him.

Thus the reason they need to lose as many games like this as they can this year. This draft is going to be their last chance to get a semi high draft pick for years to come. If they hit with a couple first rounders they will be a playoff team next year and a contender in 2-3 years. If they miss on this draft they will probably still be a playoff team, but they will have a hard time getting better than a 5 seed in the playoffs in the future.
