so were going to the playoffs? oooooooooooooooooooooook

C'mon man! As you may or may not know, you can drop a spot or two based
on the teams selected with the ping pong balls. How you interpreted that to
mean they're making the playoffs is anyone's guess. :)

After last nights win, they're currently sitting in the 6th spot. Let's
get the tank moving again.

you said the cavs may drop out of the lottery if they keep winning...to be eligible for the nba lottery you have to be a team that does not make the playoffs...so thats what i was referring to

So is it a consensus that nobody is going to question Chris Grant's draft this summer regardless of who he picks?

you know better then that. certain people will be pissed regardless, and just claim that tristan thompson still isn't great and whine about dion waiters fg%, despite the fact you could make a decent argument for him having the best rookie season based on per 36 averages.

Actually, my exact wording was "and that's not counting dropping from the lottery" . Now that I read it, I realize what a shiity sentence that is. They can
drop further in the draft order based on the results of the lottery. That sounds a little better.

With Utah and Houston both losing last night, the Lakers pull to within two and a half games of the last playoff spot. With a home game tonight against
the Wolves, we couls be looking at two games behind. Looking at Utah's March schedule, the Lakers should have no problem passing them, even if they only play .500 ball themselves.

I was at the game last night and the first 5 minutes was the worst shooting I have ever seen in the NBA. I swear Thompson missed 6 shots in the first 5 minutes, and they were'nt even close. They were at 7% by that time.

Another thing I noticed was that Zeller went out of his way to play hard/physical with Jonas V. It's like the coach told him before the game to stop being such a pussy and play physical. He didn't do much but he does move pretty good for a 7 footer.

I hate to say it but the game changed when Walton entered. The bench on this team has been playing amazing.

Since Waiters has stopped shooting so many shitty shots, his game has really improved. He really is getting the look of a special player. Not a superstar but a pretty good player. If he continues to improve he's going to be a great compliment to Kyrie. He really needs to drive to the hoop more, it seems to be his go to move.

pretty amazing draft by grant...even with zellers 2nd half downfall, if you look at the players taken after him, he is by far the best choice for his position...you could argue taking terrence jones but the cavs needed a center and Zeller was the best choice...as far as waiters, I wasn't as happy about him for the first 30 games which is understandable since he is a rookie and everything...but ever since the all star game he has really stepped it up and looks like a totally different player...he could cut back on the whining and bitching some (hes still young and needs to mature) and getting into it with TT, but thats what competitors do...im very estatic with how this draft went...cant wait to see how grant does in this years

yah that is better....and i wasnt trying to be a huge dick about it...i still think the cavs end up with a pick in the top 5 regardless of how many more games they win...as long as they have a lottery pick, and nick gilbert, that will get you top 5

Well, given that Waiters shot about 55% the last 10 games, and 51 percent for the month, I'd say the fg% whining getting a bit hollow... I suppose you can claim that Thompson isn't great, but, if you get to the point where he's the first big off the bench, you got some value there, plus in that draft what were they gonna do? Take 2 PG's? (Klay Thompson maybe, but, whatever)

it was said during the game broadcast last night that since the trade with memphis, the cavs bench was 6th in the nba in scoring.
