do bad for only 1 more season. Pray the Kings make the playoffs. Get a lottery and mid 1st rounder in what will be a stacked draft (Sullinger, Barnes, Rivers, Jones III, Terence Jones, etc.)
Kyrie
Buford
Barnes
Tristan
Varejao
or
Kyrie
Buford
(somebody)
Tristan
Jones III
Sullinger doesnt really fit the team since we drafted Tristan (which was a risk..he better be lockin down on D)
plus we got Miami's 2012 2nd rounder, and starting 2013 we have their 1st rounder till 2017 i think lol
East is gonna be tuff for the next 5 years with Miami, Chicago, New York tho
2012 first round draft pick from Miami
Cleveland has the right to swap their own 2012 1st round pick with Miami's own 1st round pick. [Cleveland - Miami, 7/9/2010]
2012 first round draft pick from Sacramento
Sacramento's own 2012 first round draft pick to Cleveland (top-14 protected in the 2012 Draft, top-13 protected in 2013, top-12 protected in 2014, top-10 protected in 2015, top-10 protected in 2016 and top-10 protected in the 2017 Draft) If Cleveland has not received a first round pick from Sacramento by 2017, then Sacramento shall convey their own 2017 2nd round draft pick to Cleveland provided it is within the top-55 picks. If it is not, then Sacramento's obligation to Cleveland shall be extinguished. (Cleveland-Sacramento, 6/30/2011)
2012 second round draft pick from New Orleans
New Orleans' own 2012 2nd round pick to Cleveland via Miami. [Miami - New Orleans, 6/25/2009 and then Cleveland - Miami, 7/9/2010]

maybe if Jimmer goes hax..nawt
we'll see what happens. Even if the Cavs cant make any trades happen the future will be very bright just from the 2012 draft.
y0yoyoin;2058270; said:kings have a shot at making the playoffs....i said a shot...if tyreke evans and hickson mesh well they may get a 8 seed...not sure if west will be as tough this year...as far as draft picks we have 1 first round pick, and im trying to figure out what REALGM means by this..."Own or to MIA; may have MIA; may have SAC"...either way we have our 2nd round pick and New Orleans 2nd rounder...we should suck pretty good this year but im all for getting rid of baron davis with the amnesty clause before the season starts...then im down for trading jamison, sessions and verajo for younger players or draft picks
exhawg;2058339; said:I'm holding on to Davis at least through this season. If they use the amnesty clause they will end up paying him to play in Miami. [censored] no. Cap space doesn't mean anything to the Cavs because they will never be able to sign a big FA. Davis might have more value next year when they can trade him to a team that is looking to get out of a longer term contract. Jamison will be in that boat this year.
AuTX Buckeye;2058346; said:Don't forget teams have to spend i think 85% of the cap this year and then 90% after that... agreed no since in cutting anyone lose, they can be trade bait later in the year
tsteele316;2058349; said:they aren't dumping baron davis. however, if they did, all it would take is cleveland picking up one amnesty player for about the mle and they will hit 85%. they are likely to try and trade davis at the deadline. by the by, i don't think amnesty players can really choose where they go, i think it's a waiver type system.
