Don't rag on that "ignorant drunk." I was at the game today, and that guy had the most yards of any person on the field today wearing Brown and Orange.
This truly was pathetic, was my first trip ever to the new Browns Stadium. There were as many Steeler fans there as there were Browns fans, and they were much louder obviously. To see a sea of terrible towels being waved in our stadium on National TV was a joke. Charlie Frye had no time to throw, and on the rare occasion that he did it was overthrow or underthrow. I wonder for how many years the Browns defense plans on making that fat-ass Bettis look like Earl Campbell?
Anyway, I would like to applaud the Steelers fans for their behavior. It's a shame this game isn't what it used to be, because although we are allegedly bitter rivals, the Browns and Steeler fans seem pretty decent towards one another. Alot of fun ribbing going on. As we left the Stadium, Steeler fans were holding up Steeler shirts and pushing them towards Browns fans faces. Not being nasty, just having fun. I didn't see anything that resembled a fight, except for when Ward threw the ball to a Steeler fan in the Dawg-Pound after his TD and the guy got mugged for the ball. Other than that, it was pretty tame, and except for the game itself, it was a fun day.
