Very happy with the Shelton pick and the Irving selection could have been worse. Irving plays all three spots on the O-line. Insurance for Mack if he leaves but puts him at RT so they can move Schwartz to Guard. Bout fucking time. Again great first day for the Brownies.

Erving isn't going to be taking anyone's spot. At best maybe Macks if he isn't healthy or ready for mini camp. Especially yhe poorly conceived notion that Schwartz would a) be good at guard b) knock a top 10 guard in Greco out of his spot.

Shwartz graded just outside of the top 10 for RT's even after Mack went down. He isn't the greatest, but he gets a lot of undeserved grief thrown his way.

The rookies have an ability to be brought along slowly. Shelton will be 2nd team when camp opens behind Hughes or Phil and allowed the chance to adjust to the NFL game. Likewise with Erving. Whom will have his time to shine when he's the starting center after 2016.

None of those should be surprising... Everyone talked up Landon Collins must have missed the Sugar bowl when he was getting trucked by WRs, tapping out... he's an in the box safety, you dont need those anymore.... also

Guess Rams dont like Tre Mason? Fisher is a mindfuck of a coach/gm

The browns said last night that it's going to be a total open competition on the right side of the OL between Greco, Bowie, Irving and Schwartz.

Id expect nothing less. I still doubt it matters. Erving is an ideal interior player for the ZBS at this level. His ability to play in space at tackle during his FSU run was inconsistent. This is a player coveted for his abilities inside. It's a long shot be beats out Mitch or Greco unless he's the next coming of Bitonio.

He better be better than Bitonio, cuz he was a 2nd rounder. I have higher expectations for a FIRST rounder. But I HATE this pick... he really is just Alex Mack insurance. Cuz you don't pick backup offensive lineman in the freaking first round!!!!!
