5 Turnovers to 1

Plus 10 penalties. Those two combined are the reason for this game.

Can't have a chance to win if you're doing stupid shit that leads to easy points for the other team. Meanwhile the offense can't sustain drives with your backup QB.

Watching that team bumble away any chance at winning was worse than getting an unwanted colonic with boiling water.

And bumbling is the best way to put it in non four letter words. I mean, go ahead and give Brandon Marshall all the well deserved credit he deserves but, you get a TD, you get a pick and hand them the ball... come on. (I'm not saying they would have won the game and there were plenty of very basic competence/execution problems) but that's exactly it, its bumbling away a huge sequence that went their way. I'm not gonna be the one that goes all Tressel and says "Field Goals are Good!" But, the McCown thing was the same deal, great, really great drive that results in nothing. They can't afford the momentum swings, they can't afford the penalties... and that's all I can say without a long rant of expletives.

Let's not overlook they still suck at what they have been sucking at. Can't run the ball, can't stop the run, TEs can't catch, RBs cant pick up blitzes, can't cover #1 receivers in some games...and the pass rusher savants we keep drafting are putting zero pressure on the QB.

Quite a bit of what you mention can fall directly on the coaches and their schemes or lack thereof. I think we also kicked the longest XP in the history of professional football.
