I thought the Browns DL was supposed to be improved this year and it sure did not look like it to me. I did not know if it is the scheme or the personnel but there is absolutely no pass rush. They just let Fitzpatrick sit back there and pick his receivers.
I also bought that the DL was supposed to be improved against the run this season but the Jets could get a first down anytime they wanted to..

the offensive line did not look very good either. Very difficult for a RB to make any yardage when there is no hole to run through. I also do not blame Johnny for those fumbles. He had to scramble for is the life every time he dropped back to throw the ball and he was just trying to make something happen when they were to get head from the blindside. Thomas needs to take some more veteran days off during camp. He might go to the Pro bowl but he sure as hell does not look like a Pro bowl player and neither does Mack.

Edit: I wonder if the officials in the NFL know that they could call holdings on almost any play that is run and they can even call penalties against other teams besides the Browns. It just sure as hell look lopsided to me when it came to penalties being called.
