Honestly is there anyone this team that is "untouchable" for trades?

I posted about a week ago that I would trade anyone that was going to be gone or washed up in 2 years. That leaves Sheldon, Bitinio (sp), Duke, Erving, Kirksey, and a couple of the young DB's not named Gilbert. Everyone else can be had for the right price. Let the new GM sort it out in the spring. Take a flier on all the Pryors and Duron Carters that are out there and see if anything sticks.

I know everyone is ready to run Farmer out of town but when Haskerts (what ever his name was) was GM everyone attributed the hits in the draft to farmer... so my question is this... is the problem Farmer or is it Tennessee Jerra and/or Pettine (I remember hearing that Pettine really wanted Gilbert) that is forcing his had and making bad picks.. etc

I blame everybody. Seems like a pretty safe bet.

False. Farmer was hired by banner. He was here for that wonderful 2013 draft that yielded mingo and Leon McFadden in 2013 before taking over as gm in 2014.

I read somewhere that they pretty much have to keep Pet for another year or two just to clear up the stink of firing the last coach after 1 year. If they fire Pet after 2 years they have no shot at hiring anyone decent and just continue the cycle. I personally don't think Pet is doing that bad of a job given what he has to work with. I'm all for a fire sale now, but they need to find a GM that can hit on the next few drafts if they really want to build a good team in the next 5 years. There might be 5 untouchable guys on this team. Everyone else can get moved.

The problem with guys like Mack, Thomas, and Kruger is they make so much that there probably aren't many teams with cap space to bring them in. The Browns might be able to get better picks if they bring back bad contracts in exchange for good players.

Nothing notable is going to go down. And I haven't spent a whole lot of time looking at it, but there are a lot of obstacles... I think maybe the Eagles are really interested in Mingo, but, he doesn't play much and the Eagles think they can help them out, and it costs a late round pick. So, I think conversations like that are happening and maybe some moron's like, "Hey, what would it take to get.... say... Joe Thomas"

Mack I can see moving because of the roster and contract, but, you're not getting anything for him if he can opt out at the end of the year... how many 6th round picks do we need?

It would almost be worse with Mack that he hasn't been as good post injury and he has a huge contract next year if he doesn't opt out. His best bet might be to play out the contract especially if he gets moved someplace he wants to be. Most teams probably don't have that kind of money for a center. You probably aren't getting a high pick for him either way since he is a half a season rental or an overpaid cap killer.

If Farmer is still the GM? Those are the only ones he gets right
