Cleveland Browns (official thread of Masochism 2015)

Honestly I'm surprised good offensive teams like the Pats don't go for it every single time. If you can make 2/3 you are ahead of the game.
With the new rule changes on the PAT, I read that as long as you can convert 47.5% of two point conversions it's worth going for every time. They also said it's much better to run the ball which has like a 56% chance.

Not sure where I read this or I'd link it but I'm thinking it was probably on fivethirtyeight

Here's a plausible prediction. Browns trade a bunch of draft picks to 49ers for Kapernick. He gets injured in preseason and never plays a down. 49ers draft 3 or 4 hall of fame players with the Brown's draft picks. Profit.

Kaep would be another in a long line of failed QBs in Cleveland. I really don't see the fascination with him after only really one good season. He needs the right system to have any chance of being successful. Not a guy who can throw a receiver open from what I've seen.

On the bright side the Browns should have a pretty good shot at fucking up a top 5 draft pick this year. They might be able to win 1 more game with this schedule. Too bad a 3 win season will get Pet the boot so we have to start from scratch again next year. This team is beyond next year. They are perennially a few years away from being good. Might as well cut or trade anyone that isn't going to be part of the team within the next two years and rebuild.
