Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

The window for the Browns is closing. Most of their high level talent is signed for the next few years. I'm not a fan, but it will be interesting to see if they just exercise his 2022 year or look for a better option on the FA market.
The FA market for QBs is fool's gold. Any QB worth a shit is going to be locked down by his current team. Guys that hit the market have flaws that make their current team okay with letting him go elsewhere. And most guys that hit FA and are just good enough to receive attention end up costing waaaaay to much; see: Cousins, Kirk.

It's just a totally Cleveland situation. Mayfield probably isn't gonna get you a ring. BUT, he's been the most capable QB they've had since Kosar by a lot. So, do you hope you can put enough around him to get over the hump, or do you toss him aside and pray you don't spend another couple of decades trying to find "the guy" again?
I think they have a pretty good supporting cast with the exception of needing some receiver upgrades. In my opinion Stefanski tries to have him do too much at times instead of just pounding it.

Could anything possibly be more Browns than signing a kicker named “Blewitt”?
