Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

Baker looks like a guy that is clearly injured and trying to battle through it in a contract year.

I always at least saw arm talent mixed with stupidity but now the stupidity comes with broken mechanics that can’t cover the bad decisions.

I don’t know but I think it’s time to send him off. Here we go again…love the rest of the foundation but QB has to at least be passable.

It's 26 passes over 5 games, so it's not just some statistical anomaly - he's a bad QB, especially in crunch time.
As an innocent bystander it is obvious to me that his injuries are playing a MAJOR roll in his poor play.

It is hard to believe they have not shut him down for the year and gone with Keenum unless they are throwing him out there to prove he does not deserve big money.

Which could be an interesting technique given the lack of QBs in this draft class. The problem is that OL and Chubb aren't likely to remain that strong by the time a proper QB arrives in 2023 and has had time to acclimate

He has 90 TDs since 2018, for a TD/INT ratio of 1.67, which is really bad. Some other QBs since 2018:

Garoppolo: 58 TD, 31 INT, 1.87 ratio
Bridgewater: 43 TD, 21 INT, 2.05 ratio
Derek Carr: 86 TD, 38 INT, 2.26 ratio
Joshua Allen: 98 TD, 43 INT, 2.28 ratio
Ryan Tannehill: 87 TD, 36 INT, 2.42 ratio
Matthew Ryan: 105 TD, 43 INT, 2.44 ratio
Roethlisberger: 86 TD, 34 INT, 2.53 ratio
Carson Wentz: 89 TD, 35 INT, 2.54 ratio
Dak Prescott: 86 TD, 33 INT, 2.61 ratio
Lamar Jackson: 84 TD, 31 INT, 2.71 ratio
Matt Stafford: 101 TD, 36 INT, 2.81 ratio
Thomas Brady: 129 TD, 42 INT, 3.07 ratio
Kirk Cousins: 120 TD, 35 INT, 3.43 ratio
Pat Mahomes: 144 TD, 37 INT, 3.89 ratio
Russell Wilson: 122 TD, 30 INT, 4.07 ratio

From Terry Pluto:

15. The Browns have a week left to prepare for the Steelers. They need to win their final two games to end at 9-8, which would give them back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since the late 1980s. Yes, it’s been that long.
That is mind-blowing. Not surprising, but still mind-blowing. The last time the Clowns had consecutive winning seasons is 1988 & 1989...32 years ago. 32. THIRTY-TWO. They've played 28 seasons over that period and not once did they post back-to-back winning seasons. That seems like it should be impossible, but no level of futility is impossible with this outfit.
