All the top Dline were probably going in the first 10-15 picks. One of the OL in not a very deep OL class. A mid first rounder isn't getting even close to fleeced. In fact all the Giants fans want string up their GM cause most of them were thinking SF's number 2 pick wouldn't be enough let alone a mid round first, a 3rd and a mediocre safety in Peppers.
Keep in mind the Browns employ one of his best friends (Jarvis Landry) and his college WR coach (Adam Henry). Divas are divas but I think having those guys on board can help keep OBJ in check.
