You're putting a bit too much stock in Baker. He is regressing - badly. And even when he has had time or the right read, he has made some incredibly poor throws or late/non decisions in this young season.

I want him to be successful. Right now, he is a bit of a liability. Especially the way he is being asked to play.

I am concerned that Baker has not found a number of open receivers... his confidence is shaken...

The hard part for the Browns is that they are basically in worst case scenario, at least offensively. Razor thin depth at RB for a few more games, Njoku was always a wildcard but a starter, and literally nobody on the offensive line. Pair that offensive identify theft vs last year and the inability to connect on anything but short slants, most of which are off of RPO...

I can’t link videos on my phone here, and it’s on the 4-letter network, but Rex Ryan just called Baker “overrated as hell” and I don’t know who the dude is sitting next to him that’s half his age, but the look on his face is awesome :lol:

The Browns seem to have some similar weapons to the Rams. Why not incorporate some of what they do that works? Maybe it's just the DC, but they were able to take the Patriots game plan against the Rams and hold them to 20 points missing all their starting DB's and a LB.
