Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

Given the game situation, how do you feel about being in this scheme?

I guess that gets to Woods a little bit. Because twice now we have busted coverage in the very last situation you want to do that.

Interesting development I hadn't considered before and it came from Tyvis Powell re: the 66 yard bomb.

Basically saying the rest of the defense was playing cover 3 rules (I suppose that would make sense with JJ3 matching the strongside #2 vertical) and that either Denzel wasn't clear how on they treated empty vs Cover 3 and went to play cloud, or he didn't get communication inside out from Grant, which is why Grant looked like he was robbing front side post and then playing backside deep over, thus not being there over top as Ward was expecting.

Denzel didn't own it at the podium, so it has me split on Tyvis making sense, but a pro-bowl corner who has no history of messing up basic assignments just losing his head all-of-a-sudden?

Brisset just had an easy step up into the pocket and either run or short pass to run for the first down and he leans into the sack. FFS this is the best they can do?
