Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

I'm not giving you Baker, 2 firsts a 4th and ODB for Watson.

If this were fantasy land, I'd give you Baker, ODB a 3rd and a 4th.... MAYBE a future 2nd depending on how that first offer marinates. But I'm getting Watson and Cooks in return.
Deshaun is a good young QB, but he wants out and probably will give that franchise a headache in refusing to play if he doesn't. Houston doesn't have a position of negotiating power here.

edit: Either way it doesn't matter, it ain't gonna happen.

Baker played very well over the 2nd half of the season. There are many factors into the 'why'? behind it which I'm sure will be fun to dive into. Is he a transcendent, team-on-his-back kind of talent? Not yet. But he is showing capable of possibly handling the burdens in time and with more growth.

As said before though, he's not getting a Mahomes type deal.

The idea of trading Baker for Watson at this point is a non-starter. Not even worth detailed analysis.

But if say the Browns had an MVP QB who is going to be 38 next year and making $40 million per, with three years left on that contract, and if you could get a 1-for-1 swap for Watson who's in his prime with several years on his contract and save over $10M per, that could be a trade worth really considering.
