Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

I think Dorsey used to see a “value” in guys like that but hopefully, the changing culture of the NFL is going to make Dorsey rethink that. Not sure him thinking about moving up for Simmons indicates that but it’s a bullet dodged and maybe sense begins to prevail.

I am not heartbroken they didn't get him. They certainly don't need to burn resources on aquiring idiots like that. I'm not happy about the hunt thing, but if you're gonna do it, free agent at a position you really Don't need and give the guy a second chance and get his shit straight and may he can help you down the road... Ok maybe. Simmons went what? 17? No need to go up a full round for that shit to stockpile a dude for probably next year.

There are still a number of guys on the board that can help right away in my IMO.
Oh i agree i’m just talking bout Dorsey’s love for abusers... especially ones with a history, Hill, Hunt (now has the history), Callaway etc etc...

It’s clear he either doesn’t care about character or thinks they can manage those type of guys...not sure which is worse

Lawrence Taylor murdered a guy

PacMac Jones was arrested at least 10 times

Lawrence Phillips was a sweatheart

Roethlisberger should have gone to prison for a host of rapes

so bad character is relative.. and that scale changes based on your skill set

I do not think that Callaway was an abuser of women.. I thought his bad rep came from the use of "recreational" drugs..
Callaway was found not responsible of sexually assaulting the female student by an independent hearing officer in a Title IX hearing. The ruling was made by attorney Jake Schickel, a former track and field athlete at Florida who has donated money to Florida's football and basketball programs. Schickel cleared Callaway of three violations of Florida's student conduct code, which included endangering another's health or safety, sexual assault and sexual misconduct, and conduct causing physical injury.[8]
