Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

RT for a lefty in college + being drafted by the Browns + needs to be "physically reprogrammed". I can see how this can go Browns.

I would be worried myself if the kid wasn't already pretty technically refined at his spot. But I think the reason Joe Thomas loves him so much is because Wills has a very nice kick step. Something that is usually pretty raw for
tackle prospects these days. There's no doubt it will be a learning process, but I'd wager good money to think he'll transition and produce favorably. I think this kid is the best lineman to come through Bama since Saban has been there.

I would not mind them taking Winfield.
I would take Davis out of Cal before Winfield. Winfield is a little small in stature. I want a big bruiser who will rock you (not you but you get my drift) I also like Chinn and the guy from the small school Dugger but I do not think that they are high second round value same goes with Harrison (would love to have him may be on day three)

The main thing about Wills learning LT and the Browns new offense is if the running game works pure pass sets matter less. I wouldn't be surprised if +50% of the pass plays will be play action, which doesn't involve typical pass sets. Wills has shown to be a great run blocker and ability as a run blocker is pretty much the same no matter where you line up. The growing pains are going to happen when they end up in 2nd and 20 or 3rd and long when you know they are going to have to drop back. A drop back pass on 1st and 10 won't get the same pass rush if the defense is expecting run or PA pre-snap.

I only used a right handed stance in HS due to lack of knowledge from my HS coaches. When I got to college they had the left side use a left handed stance. It took a week to get used to it, but by the end of camp it was second nature. When I played some snaps at RT I was still able to run block as shitty as I was on the left side, but pass sets would have been an issue if we'd needed to throw the ball when I was over there. The good thing about being a left tackle is you rarely have to shuffle around to fill a gap if someone is injured.
