Re: Bakers footwork from the gun. The jab step he does to begin getting depth in the pocket really needs a ton of work. It also puts a great deal of stress on your tackles because that's a lot more space for
them to have to deal with in pass pro. So I'm glad Van Pelt has seen some of this already and has a plan to address it.

Baker may end up being a serviceable QB. He will never be worthy of the 1st pick they spent on him.

I don't know. He certainly showed the potential to be worthy of it as a rookie. I have a really hard time holding this year against him given the absolute goat fuck the coaching staff was. I don't like Baker, but I think he has the ability to be a legitimate franchise QB if he's coached well and given an offense worth a damn to run.
I know people hate the Favre comparison, but look at his stats. Solid rookie year (18/13 td/int) then fell off a cliff in year two (19/24) before taking off in year three. If Stefanski is the real deal, maybe Baker gets back on track.
But this being Cleveland, that's probably a long shot.

Pretty sure Tony Grossi is like 5'7" so he probably shouldn't be calling any NFL QB other than Kyler Murray a midget. Pretty dumb to shit where your bread is buttered. That being said Baker Mayfield has a pretty rockin dad bod.
