Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

Likewise. It bothers me because of our lack of depth at DB and TJ was a dude that could slide back and play from the hash if need be. Just re-building that depth isn't done overnight.
I think it was all about the contract with Carrie unless they are going stupid again. Like you say he provided good depth in two areas. If it is about the $$, Vernon has to go along with Kirksey. Talk about lack of productivity.

My thought is if they are asking this question at this point...............there is a big issue in Cleveland........

Third year in...........3 different head coaches and 3 different offensive coordinators...........
There is a big issue in Cleveland...the organization is, and always will be, a clown show. Baker may end being a bust in time, but he showed enough as a rookie to be allotted a little rope, particularly when he was saddled with a bum HC who torpedoed the season with his incompetence in year two.

Baker has ability, but he has to unfuck himself, and only he can commit to doing that. Todd Marinovich and Jeff George had ability too

Contract was a given, not sure why a restructure couldn't be offered.

Vernon has ability and past production, but his fit in this defense and his health is a problem. Our Dline is pretty small overall and he's the smallest of the starting 4. Difficult to consistently stop the run with our current personnel the way it is.

Kirksey has to go based on cost v availability.

And for the clowns, the hits keep on playing . . .
Cleveland Browns lineman Greg Robinson -- the #2 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft -- is in custody after officials say he was found with A LOT of marijuana at a border patrol checkpoint.

We're told Robinson was stopped on Monday at the Sierra Blanca border checkpoint near the U.S., Mexico border. We're still working on the details surrounding the arrest.

Jail records show Robinson is still in custody and we're told he's facing a federal charge of possession with intent to distribute.

But that's ok, cause he gone.
The Browns have no plans to re-sign left tackle Greg Robinson and have already communicated that to his camp, a league source told cleveland.com.

It means, then, that it’s not the Browns’ problem that Robinson is in custody after being arrested near the U.S.-Mexico border with marijuana, according to TMZ Sports.
