Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

I get that the Browns are starting over.. but did people really love Dorsey that much??? I know he was an experienced GM but his drafting was about on par with previous regimes maybe a bit worse in terms of taking chances on dudes with bad histories (Calloway & Hunt)..... I’m not upset over the loss of Dorsey

He seemed to be a big upgrade from Sashi, so even if he was average, he was an improvement.

Odds on DePodesta making a bad hire? I would say "Yes" is -1000.

What's Billy Beane up to? In all honesty whoever he picks probably can't be any worse that the shit show they've had for the past 10-20 years. I don't know how you run analytics on coaches especially when looking at how a coordinator will do as a head coach. A lot of coaching performance relates to the rest of the staff. You could have the best HC, but if his staff sucks the team will suck. In Freddie's case he hired an OC that was able to put up points with Crab Legs and Fitzmagic, but wouldn't let him do his job with Baker. If Freddie was smarter he would have realized that the success last year had nothing to do with him and he would have let his offensive staff do more. The base 4-2-5 defense should have been a deal breaker on that side of the ball when he was interviewing candidates. I doubt Freddie will ever be anything more than a position coach for the rest of his career after this debacle.
