Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

List of names reported to be interviewing/interview requested:

Josh McDaniels - Patriots OC
Mike McCarthy - former Packers HC
Robert Saleh - 49ers DC
Greg Roman - Ravens OC
Brian Daboll - Bills OC
Kevin Stefanski - Vikings OC
Mike McDaniel - 49ers RGC
Mike LaFleur - 49ers PGC
Eric Bienemy - Chiefs OC
I will beat this drum until it happens and many may not agree, but the Browns need a veteran NFL head coach, who has previously had success. They missed on Arians last year, missed on Rivera this year, and most likely won’t hire McCarthy. Rivera is doing things like bringing in Del Rio at DC which is a great move.

This concept that they can catch lightning in a bottle with the next up and coming Coordinator just hasn’t and won’t work in Cleveland. They just don’t have the front office/ownership to make it work.

if they hire McDaniel, who says he will actually show up after he pimped the Colts last year. it’s not like the Belichick coaching tree is that brilliant. Look no further than the shit show in Detroit.

Color me not impressed with the list.

And idiot owners remain.
Haslam has been practically the most disastrous owner in NFL history. He almost always hires the wrong people, and fires them all when they are unable to reverse years of failure after 1-2 seasons. Asking staff members what they think of particular fellow staff members all the time is about the dumbest thing you could do. Obviously Haslam is not a success when he makes hiring decisions - if only he would start pulling a Costanza and do the opposite of his instincts, maybe then the Browns will start finding success.
