Dudes calling into Drennan Live screaming for Mayfield to start Thursday night. Doesn't make sense to me with a short week.

If the Browns are going to make that move soon, do it after the Jets game with the longer work week.

Plus I can't imagine the whole "Battle of the #1 Picks" story would be great for either guy at this point.

Personally I would have brought back the kid from Solon that almost won the job in the preseason, but I'd rather take a flier on a kid than sign a vet on the downside of his career. At least a guy like Joseph or Ross Martin got cut because they were behind a draft pick not because they sucked. I was going to say they could just go sign Phil Dawson, but that old bastard is still playing. AZ has that dry head and great early bird buffets.
