It's not just the above, the quality of play across the league has nosedived the past few years. It's sloppy, it's slow-paced and it's mostly boring. The average college game gets off 130-150 plays per 60 minutes. The NFL is around 100. Add in the selective enforcement of rules, the blatant favoritism that is obvious at times and it becomes less and less interesting.

The pundits and media like to blame Colin Kaepernick and players kneeling for the drop in ratings, i call bullshit on that. The product sucks.
