The Browns are 1-31 the last two years. They aren't going 11-5 no matter who they start so there's no reason to rush Mayfield. Taylor is better than any QB they've trotted out in recent years, and gives them a chance to win a few games this year and start moving forward. Mayfield's time will come.

I said when they drafted him, if Baker Mayfield starts a single game this season, nothing has changed and he will just be another name on that meme jersey. They ain’t making the playoffs, and there’s no reason to start anyone other than Tyrod Taylor this season as long as he stays in one piece.
