Which means they'll be mad about what he did in Cincinnati, Baltimore, etc. Not Cleveland, particularly if it stacks up poorly with the rookie efforts in Buffalo or New Jersey.From a football POV, you're right - not that the Browns have demonstrated a football POV of late - but this is the second time they've put out big bucks to an undersized, immature QB. Unlike the first one, this guy pissed off a solid group of Buckeyes/Browns fans. If he goes out and gives a Manzell performance the pay back will be significant.
Also they finally relinquished on their avoidance of drafting Buckeyes (and frankly may have reached a bit for Denzel).
